Algola Privacy Policy

Last update: May 17, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Soso Labs L.L.C-FZ (“Algola”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects personal data when you access or use Algola Terminal, Algola.ai, Algola Community, our website, applications, API connection features, wallet interfaces, analytics tools, notification systems, AI-powered features, support channels, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).

Algola is designed as an educational, informational, analytical, and technology-focused tool. Algola does not provide financial services, investment advice, brokerage, custody, exchange, payment, banking, portfolio management, or trading services. Our privacy practices are designed to support this limited role.

We aim to collect only the data reasonably necessary to operate, secure, support, and improve the Services. We do not request, store, view, back up, or recover private keys, seed phrases, or wallet recovery phrases. We do not need withdrawal-enabled API access, and users should not connect API keys with withdrawal permissions.

By accessing or using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy. Where applicable law requires consent for a specific processing activity, such as optional cookies or marketing communications, we will request such consent separately.

If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, you should not access or use the Services.

2. Scope of This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies only to data processed by Algola in connection with the Services.

It does not apply to third-party exchanges, brokers, platforms, wallets, protocols, blockchains, payment providers, community platforms, analytics providers, websites, or other services that are not owned or controlled by Algola.

If you access, connect to, or use a third-party service through Algola or independently, that third party’s own privacy policy, terms of service, risk disclosures, security practices, and applicable legal obligations apply. Algola does not control and is not responsible for the privacy or data practices of third-party services.

3. Data Minimization

Algola aims to limit personal data processing to what is reasonably necessary for the Services.

Not every category described in this Privacy Policy applies to every user. The data processed depends on how you use Algola, which features you enable, whether you create an account, whether you connect a wallet, whether you connect an API, whether you join community features, and whether you contact support.

Algola does not seek to identify users beyond what is necessary to provide, secure, support, improve, and protect the Services or comply with applicable legal obligations.

4. Data We Do Not Collect or Do Not Intend to Collect

Algola does not request, store, view, back up, or recover:

  • private keys;
  • seed phrases;
  • wallet recovery phrases;
  • withdrawal credentials;
  • withdrawal-enabled API access, unless a user connects it contrary to our recommendation;
  • full payment card numbers;
  • full bank account login credentials;
  • government identification documents, unless legally required for a specific compliance reason;
  • biometric data;
  • special categories of sensitive personal data, unless legally required and specifically disclosed;
  • unnecessary personal information unrelated to the Services.

You should never send Algola your private key, seed phrase, wallet recovery phrase, password, withdrawal-enabled API key, or other confidential credential. If you voluntarily share such information, you do so at your own risk. Algola is not responsible for asset loss or unauthorized access caused by your disclosure of confidential credentials.

  • to send marketing communications only where permitted by law and subject to your preferences or consent;
  • to protect the rights, property, safety, and legitimate interests of Algola, users, and third parties.

Algola does not use personal data to provide personalized investment advice, to act as a broker, to provide custody, to manage user portfolios, or to guarantee trading outcomes.

8. Legal Bases for Processing

Depending on the applicable law and the specific processing activity, we may process personal data based on one or more of the following legal bases:

  • performance of a contract with you or steps taken before entering into a contract;
  • compliance with a legal obligation;
  • our legitimate interests, including operating, securing, improving, and protecting the Services;
  • your consent, where consent is legally required;
  • establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims;
  • protection of vital interests where applicable.

Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawal of consent does not affect processing carried out before the withdrawal.

9. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We may use cookies, local storage, pixels, SDKs, and similar technologies to operate the Services, keep users signed in, remember preferences, improve performance, analyze usage, detect security issues, and, where permitted, support measurement or marketing activities.

Some cookies are necessary for the Services to function. Optional analytics or marketing cookies may require your consent depending on applicable law.

You can control cookies through your browser settings and, where available, through our cookie preference tools. Disabling certain cookies may affect the functionality of the Services.

10. AI, Analytics, and Automated Processing

Algola may use AI, analytics, statistical models, automated systems, and decision-support tools to provide market analysis, alerts, product features, risk-awareness tools, support, security monitoring, abuse prevention, and product improvement.

AI outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, delayed, outdated, or misleading. Users should not rely solely on AI outputs for financial, trading, legal, tax, or other important decisions.

We do not intend to use automated processing to make legally binding decisions about users without appropriate human involvement where such involvement is required by law.

11. Sharing of Personal Data

We may share data with the following categories of recipients only where reasonably necessary and legally permitted:

  • cloud hosting and infrastructure providers;
  • database, storage, security, and monitoring providers;
  • analytics and product measurement providers;
  • email, communication, notification, and customer support providers;
  • payment processors and billing providers, if paid features are used;
  • third-party platforms, exchanges, wallets, or API services that you choose to connect;
  • professional advisers, including lawyers, accountants, auditors, and consultants;
  • service providers that help us operate, secure, support, or improve the Services;
  • public authorities, regulators, courts, law enforcement, or government bodies where legally required or reasonably necessary;
  • parties involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, asset sale, or similar corporate transaction.

We do not sell private keys or seed phrases because we do not collect them. We do not intend to sell personal data in the ordinary sense of selling identifiable user information for money. If applicable law defines “sale” or “sharing” more broadly, we will provide applicable disclosures or opt-out mechanisms where required.

12. Third-Party Platforms and API Connections

If you connect Algola to a third-party platform, exchange, wallet, or protocol, data may be exchanged between Algola and that third party as necessary to provide the feature you requested.

The third party may independently collect, process, store, or disclose your data under its own privacy policy and terms. Algola does not control third-party privacy, security, or data practices.

You are responsible for reviewing the privacy policy, security practices, API permissions, and legal status of any third-party service before connecting it to Algola.

13. International Data Transfers

We may process and store data in countries other than the country where you are located. These countries may have data protection laws that differ from your jurisdiction.

Where required by applicable law, we will implement appropriate safeguards for international data transfers, such as contractual safeguards, standard contractual clauses, adequacy mechanisms, consent mechanisms, or other legally recognized transfer tools.

14. Data Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.

Retention periods may vary depending on the type of data, the nature of the Services, account status, legal obligations, security needs, dispute resolution, audit requirements, tax requirements, and legitimate business needs.

When personal data is no longer required, we will delete, anonymize, or securely store it in accordance with applicable law and internal retention practices.

Public blockchain data may remain permanently available on the relevant blockchain network and cannot be deleted or modified by Algola.

15. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal data against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.

These measures may include encryption, access controls, logging, monitoring, network security, secure development practices, credential protection, and internal policies.

You may opt out of marketing communications by using the unsubscribe link, adjusting your communication preferences, or contacting us. Even if you opt out of marketing messages, we may still send service-related, legal, security, or transactional communications.

The Services are not intended for children or individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

If we become aware that we have collected personal data from a child without appropriate authorization, we will take reasonable steps to delete such data.

20. Community and Public Content

Information you share in Algola Community, public channels, forums, chats, or social features may be visible to other users or the public depending on the platform settings.
